Course Overview
This nationally recognised course provides participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to perform a safe rescue from a live low voltage (LV) electrical panel, along with the application of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in line with current Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.
It is a mandatory safety requirement for those working on or near live electrical installations, including electricians and safety observers. The course is designed to support rapid and compliant response in emergency situations where electrical incidents or cardiac arrest may occur in the workplace.
Who Should Enrol?
This course is intended for individuals who are required to maintain current LVR and CPR certification, including:
- Electricians and electrical contractors
- Electrical apprentices and trade assistants
- WHS personnel, safety observers, and emergency responders
- Supervisors and workers in mining, construction, or utilities sectors
- Any personnel working in proximity to live electrical installations
Units of Competency
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a Statement of Attainment for the following nationally recognised units:
-
UETDRMP007 Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel
-
HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Course Structure & Pricing
Delivery Mode:
Training is delivered through a blended learning approach, which may include:
Pricing:
- Course Fee: $120 (GST-free)
- This fee includes all training, assessment, course materials, and certification issuance.
Entry Requirements
