Note:

- Performing CPR according to Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines on adults, children, and infants
- Managing common injuries and illnesses, including wounds, burns, fractures, shock, choking, asthma, allergic reactions, and seizures
- Using first aid equipment effectively, including automated external defibrillators (AEDs), bandages, and splints
- Caring for casualties with respect and empathy, obtaining consent where possible
- Monitoring casualty condition and providing ongoing care until professional help arrives
- Understanding and managing the psychological impact of emergencies on yourself and others, and knowing when to seek support
