Course Overview
This nationally recognised course equips participants with the essential skills and confidence to respond to a wide range of medical emergencies across workplace and community settings.
Delivered in accordance with the latest Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines and Safe Work Australia requirements, First Aid & CPR includes both practical first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation components.
Participants will learn how to assess and manage various injuries and health emergencies, from minor wounds to life-threatening incidents, while providing effective care for adults, children, and infants until qualified medical assistance is available.

Course Structure & Pricing
Delivery Mode:
- Online self-paced learning
- Face-to-face training combining theoretical instruction with scenario-based practical skills sessions
- Please note: Activation of your online training platform may take up to 24-48 hours. Delays may occur during weekends, public holidays, or other closure periods.
Pricing:
- Course Fee: $95.00 (GST-free)
- This fee includes all training, assessment, course materials, and certification issuance.
Entry Requirements
To enrol in this course, participants must:
- Have the physical capacity to perform CPR and simulated rescue activities
(including kneeling, bending, and applying chest compressions on a manikin)
- Complete the required pre-course study
(Online learning modules must be completed prior to attending the practical session.)
Course Duration
The total course duration is approximately 6-7 hours, consisting of:
- Online theory: 2 to 3 hours (self-paced)
- Face-to-face practical session: 5 to 6 hours
Please note: Duration may vary depending on participant numbers, prior knowledge, and learning pace.

This course supports compliance with WHS and industry requirements for personnel working with or around electrical systems, including:

Certification
On successful completion, a Statement of Attainment is issued for the units:

Certification Validity
Certification is valid for three (3) years from the date of issue.
HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation must be renewed every 12 months to maintain compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) standards.
