Fees and Refunds Policy

Information about fees and charges

Roar Training Solutions is committed to providing students with information about all fees and charges associated with a course.


Payments

Payment for courses requiring an up-front deposit must be paid upon to enrolment into the account specified on the invoice. 

Students who do not make payment 3 business days prior to the practical workshop commencement date will be contacted for payment by credit card before course commencement.

Where the total course cost exceeds $2500 and has more than one practical workshop, a ‘pay per workshop’ instalment will be used for each practical workshop which forms part of the qualification. 

Where fees are overdue and the student has no prior agreement for alternative payments in place with Roar Training, a warning letter and notice of overdue payment incursion regarding non-payment of fees will be sent to the student as follows:

  • Warning letter: failing to pay an invoice within 5 days of receipt or contacting Roar Training Solutions to make alternative arrangements.
  • Notice of overdue payment incursion fee: failing to pay an invoice within 7 days of receipt of the warning letter or contacting Roar Training Solutions to make alternative arrangements.

Note: the overdue payment incursion fee consists of a 5% total course cost, per week, every week the invoice is overdue.

Following non-compliance of the overdue payment incursion fee, the debt will be referred to a debt collection agency.


Credit transfer and RPL

A reduction of fee cost can be applied for any units granted through credit transfer and RPL.

 

Refunds

For all refunds a Refund Application Form must be filled out, which can be provided upon contact with Roar Training. 

The outcome of the refund assessment will be forwarded to the student in writing within 20 working days.

  • Refunds will be paid to the person or entity from whom the original payment was received unless other details are provided and accepted.
  • Where Roar Solutions cancels a course prior to commencement, all charges will be refunded. 
  • All other refunds will incur a 5% administration fee for processing regardless of circumstances.
